This seems to be a result of the way that the cutter accepts commands being that it needs an "end of data transmition" / "ready for next transition" (something to that effect) before it will accept input for these functions. That would be me going in and learning their code, and there's not enough time in a day for all that lol I can't get this thing to communicate at all with this LP, guess I'll have to wait for a fix, don't have time to break the software apart and fix it. saying that though, serial is more stable, but I don't use serial ports, and they are almost a non exsisting thing these days. Ohh and welcome back Ash, I know use a keyspan adapter Any way to make a longer story even longer.isn't serial a much better connection for the cutter than usb? I have contacted Craftedge and they responded with "did you install the latest virtual port adapter?" I responded with "why would I need that if I am running serial?" The response to that was try running it USB ! What USB well then thats when my head started hurting again (SBE flashbacks lol). I have been cutting lately with it and no issues.UNTIL I tried the print cut (contour cut) and it does nothing, can't calibrate laser or even if I pass on that and try to cut the cutter wont move to any of the reg marks, the display on my Laserpoint shows 'waiting'.
